Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Mr. Vinod has x^2 - 4x + 3 children.

He brought x^4 + 2x^3 - 13x^2 - 12x + 21 chocolates and distributed them to all the children and distributed the extra to slum children,.

To Find :

The total number of sweets distributed amond slum children,.

Solution :

The total number of sweets distributed among slum children = The total number of excess sweets = The remainder of the division :

(\frac{Total \ number \ of \ sweets }{total \ number \ of \ children})

\frac{x^4 + 2x^3 - 13x^2 - 12x + 21}{x^2 - 4x + 3}

\frac{(x - 1)(x - 3)(x^2 + 6x + 8) + (2x - 3)}{(x - 3)(x - 1)}

⇒ The remainder is 2x - 3. (see picture below)

Hence, the number of sweets distributed among slum children was 2x - 3,.

The quality of being selflessness is shown by Mr. Vinod.
