Answer:

Marked Price = Rs.10000

Discount = Rs.2000

Hence, discount % = 2000/10000 × 100 = 20%

Selling Price = Rs.(10000-2000) = Rs.8000

Solution :-

Given ,

  • Marked price = 10000 ₹
  • Discount price = 2000 ₹

We need to find ,

  • Selling price = ?
  • Discount % = ?

Selling price ( SP ) :-

Selling price = Marked price - Discount price

→ SP = 10000 - 2000

Selling price ( SP ) = 8000

Discount % :-

Discount % = Discount price/Marked price × 100

→ Discount % = 2000/10000 × 100

→ Discount % = 2/10 × 100

→ Discount % = 2 × 10

Discount % = 20 %

Hence , SP = 8000 & Discount % = 20%
