mrs ali has two chidren sara band ayesha ayesha is 5 years younger than sara. ayesha is a quarter of the age of mother sara is 15 years old how old is mrs ali ? please anyone try to solve it for me

Let Sara's age be 'x' .But it is said that sara is 15years old.
And ayesha's age is  x - 5  (since she is 5yrs younger than sara)
= 15 - 5 = 10yrs 
So ayesha is 10yrs old.
Let the age of Mrs Ali be y.It is said that ayesha is 1/4 th of her mother's age
So , 1/4 × y = 10
⇒ y =  10×4 = 40

So Mrs Ali is 40 years old.
