Mrs. and Mr. Smith both have widow's peaks (dominant). Their first child also has a widow's peak, but their second child doesn't. Mr. Smith accuses Mrs. Smith of being unfaithful to him. Is he necessarily justified? Why or why not?

Answer:

No because it could be a genetic mutation or a age difference.

Explanation:

At the time of birth of the first child Mrs. Smith's genes (that carried the possibility of having a widow's peak)made through the first child but maybe not through the second. But some babies come out the womb with no hair on their head later they GROW hair. My conclusion:The first child is older so it has grown hair but the second one is too young to grow hair or it could be a genetic mutation.
