Mrs Anita that her cooking utensils are becoming black in colour and the flame of heart is yellowish colour what can be the reason for this sooty flame how is this problem harmful for environment what are the steps should be taken to stop this process

The production of sooty flame is due to burning of unsaturated hydrocarbon...

Burning of unsaturated hydrocarbon gives a yellow flame with lots of black smoke....this is b,coz unsaturated hydrocarbon contains more carbon..

This is harmful to our environment as it produces smoke and leads to pollution....

Steps to be taken are:

1.Conversion of unsaturated hydrocarbon to saturated hydrocarbon..

2. Burning substances with complete combustion....
