Here is the answer.

I hope no. of tiles required is asked .

No. of tiles required = area of the floor / area of a single tile
so, no. of tiles = 4m×5m / 5cm× 5cm
= 400× 500 cm^2 /5×5 cm^2
= 200000/25=8000

So, 8000 tiles of that dimensions are required to cover the floor .

Firstly we will find area of floor
4m *5m = 20 m
Then area of tiles = 5cm * 5cm = 25 cm
Then we will multiply area of floor with tiles.
