Let Rekha's age be x years.

Therefore, Mrs.Goel's age = (27+x) years.

Rekha's age after 8 years = ( x + 8) years

Mrs.Goel's age after 8 years = (27 + x + 8) years

= (35 + x) years

According to the question -

After 8 years

Mrs.Goel's age = 2 × Rekha's age

==> 35 + x = 2 ( x + 8)

==> 35 + x = 2x + 16

==> 2x - x = 35 -16

==> x = 19

Therefore, at present , Rekha is 19 years old .

N Mrs. Goel's age present age is 46 years.

Ans. = Rekha is 19 years old and Mrs.Goel is 46 years old.
