let the age of rekha be x

so according to question :-

age of Mrs goel = 27+x

age of rekha = x

after 8 yrs :-

Mrs goel = 27 + x + 8

rekha = x+ 8

so according to question :-

27 + x + 8 = 2(x+8)

35 + x = 2x + 16

35-16 = 2x-x

19 = x

age of rekha = 19 yrs

age of Mrs goel = 27+19 = 46yrs

• After 8 Years their Age will be :

» Rekha Present Age + 8 Years

» (n + 8) Years

» Mrs. Goel Present Age + 8 Years

» {(27 + n) + 8} Years

» (35 + n) Years

⇒ After 8 Years

⇒ Mrs. Goel = Twice of Rekha

⇒ (35 + n) = 2 × (n + 8)

⇒ 35 + n = 2n + 16

⇒ 35 – 16 = 2n - n

• Present Ages will be :
