Solution :

✰ Mrs Goel is 27 years older than her daughter Rekha. So Let Age of Rekha be x and Goel's age be x + 27. After 8 years Rekha's age will be x + 8 and Goel's age will be x + 27 + 8. By adding both ages we will The value of x and then Pit the values in the given ages.

Let Rekha's Age be x

Let Goel's Age be x + 27

After 8 years

• Rekha's age = x + 8

• Goel's age = x + 27 + 8

According to Question

⟹ (x + 27 +8) = 2 (x + 8)

⟹ (x + 35) = 2 (x + 8)

⟹ x + 35 = 2x + 16

⟹ x + 2x = 16 - 35

⟹ 35 - 16 = 2x - 1x

⟹ 19 = x

Now, Their present ages

• Rekha's Age = 19 years

• Goel's Age = 19 + 27 = 46 years
