then Mes. Goel age will be 27+x

Given that,
after 8 years, the age will be
$27 + 8 + x = 2(x + 8)$
$35 + x = 2x + 16$
$35 - 16 = 2x - x$
$x = 19$
hence, Mrs. Goel present age is 27+19
i.e 46
