Hey....the length of the side of square park is 50m
so total perimeter is 4s=4×50
200m
per day she walks 5 rounds so 5×200=1000m=1km
so for 30 days she walks 30 km..

She covers 30 kilometers in 30 days.

Given :

Side of a square = 50 m

she walks around the park 5 times every day.

To Find:

Distance (in km) she covers in 30 days.

Solution:

Finding the Perimeter of a Square -

Perimeter of a square = 4 x side

= 4 x 50

= 200 m

Perimeter of a square = 200 m

Finding the distance she walks in one day -

Given: she walks 5 times every day

1 time = 200 m

5 times = 200 x 5 = 1000 m .

So, she walks  1000 m per day.

Finding the distance she covers in 30 days -

1 day = 1000 m

30 days = 30 x 1000 = 30,000 m

So, she walks 30,000 m in 30 days.

Converting metres to kilometres -

1 km = 1000 m

30,000 m = 30,000 ÷ 1000 = 30 km

30,000 m = 30 km.

Hence: She covers 30 km in 30 days
