So quantity bought = 2 x 1/4 = 1/2 kg

The rest she go in 1/2 kg packets.

Let the total number of 1/2 kg packets be p

★ According To Question:-

1/2 + 1/2p = 5

p/2 = 5 - 1/2

p/2 = 9/2

⇒ (2 Packet of 1/4) + (n Packet of 1/2) = 5

⇒ 1 /2 + n /2 = 5

⇒ (1 + n) /2 = 5
