MRS. Kaushik has a square plot with the measurement as shown in the figure . She wants to construct a house in the middle of a plot . A garden is developed a garden around the house at the rate of Rules 55 per m2 ​

325 \times 55 = 17725

Area  \:  \: of \:  \:  the  \:  \: square \:  \:  plot=(25 \times 25) {m}^{2}

Area  \:  \: of \:  \:  the \:  \:  house=(20×15) {m}^{2}

Area of remaining portion in which the garden is built

= Area of square plot − Area of the house

=(25×25)−(15×20)

=325 m {}^{2}

Total cost = Rs (325×55)= Rs 17,875
