b)By amniocentesis, *** of the child can be known. Under the guidance of an ultrasound , a sterile needle is inserted through the abdominal wall into the amniotic sac. A small amount of amniotic fluid is withdrawn through the needle. The amniotic fluid contains foetal cells that are separated from the amniotic fluid and cultured. Tests are then performed on the culture cells like chemical analysis, DNA analysis and chromosomal analysis.

c)In the past , there has been numerous cases of female infanticide or female foeticide. Hence disclosing *** of the foetus has been banned in our country.
