y=x+27

x-y= -27------(1)

case 2

y+8=2(x+8)

y+8=2x+16

2x-y= -8--------(2)

Subtracting eq (1) from (2)

2x-y= -8

-x-+y= +-27

x=19

Now putting value of x in eq 1

19-y=-27

-y=-46

y=46

So age of meena is 46 and her daughter's age is 19.
