Answer:

1)2472.50

2)14,662.50

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Cost of GST

=5%of850

=5×850/100

=RS 42.50

Cost of GST

=18%of1,500

=18×1,500/100

=RS 270

Cost of GST

=S.P= M.P-(M.P×Discount%/100)

=15,000-(15,000×20%/100)

=15,000-3,000

Here S.P=Rs.12,000

=18%of12,000

=18×12,000/100

=2,160

TOTAL= G.S.T PAID=(42.50+270+2160)

TOTAL= G.S.T PAID=(42.50+270+2160) =2472.50

2) Cost of medicines including GST

=850+(5%of850)

=850+(5×850/100)

=850+42.50

=Rs. 892.50

Cost of handbag including GST

=1,500+(18%of1,500)

=1,500+(18×1,500/100)

=1,500+270

=Rs. 1,770

Cost of washing machine including GST

=S.P= M.P-(M.P×Discount%/100)

=15,000-(15,000×20%/100)

=15,000-3,000

=12,000

Here S.P=Rs.12,000

=12,000+(18%of12,000)

=12,000+(18×12,000/100)

=12,000+2,160

=Rs. 14,160

TOTAL BILL AMOUNT INCLUDING GST = 892.50+1,770+12,000=14,662.50

Here's your answer

Hope it helps
