Mrs. Packletide was not a good shot because it shows that instead of tiger she shot a goat and tiger did due to heart attack due to loud sound of bullet shooting.

No, this is not true. Mrs. Packletide was not a good shot.She fired the shot but the wrong animal was hit. The bullet struck not the aimed tiger but the goat tied as a bait for the tiger.

Also, you can write in this way :

Mrs.Packletide was daring and bold enough to go for hunting a tiger which was old and weak.She was not good shot at all.Inspite of all arrangements, she was not able to shoot the old tiger who was walking slowly.Instead she shot the goat as she had missed her aim.
