Let, Mr. Rao's income be , 'X'

∴20% of X =(X×20/100)

                  = X/5

∴ Mrs. Panday's income = X-(X/5)

                                        = (5X-X)/5

                                        = 4X/5

∴ Mr. Roa's income is more than Mrs. Pandays income by

= { X-(4X/5) }

= {(5X-4X)/5}

= X/5

∴ Mr. Rao's income is more than Mrs. Pandays income by

= {(X/5)÷(4X/5)}×100

={(X/5)×(5/4X)}×100

= (1/4)×100

= 25%
