Let Anaya's age be x.

Then, Mrs. Poonam's age = x + 20

After 4 years,

Anaya's age = x + 4

Mrs Poonam's age = x + 20 + 4 = x + 24

According to question,

After, 4 years, Mrs Poonam's age is will be thrice as old as Anaya

==> x + 24 = 3(x + 4)

==> x + 24 = 3x + 12

==> x - 3x = 12 - 24

==> -2x = -12
Cancelling minus sign,

==> 2x = 12

==> x = 12/2

==> x = 6

Therefore, Anaya's age = x = 6 years

And, Mrs Poonam's age = x + 20 = 6 + 20 = 26 years
