Let me Rane monthly salary=x
She gives 0.025 part of her salary as pocket money to her son vinod every month= (25/1000)x
=(1/40)x
vinod spends 0.8 part of his pocket money
= (8/10)(1/40) x = 1/50)x
vinod saves the rest of pocket money=
(1/40)x - (1/50) = (10/2000)x =
(1/200)x
Given that vinod saves 3 months pocket money = 277.50
vinod saves one month pocket money =
277.50/3=92.50
according to the problem (1/200)x =
92.50 = x= 92.50 × 200 = 18500 rs
so,Mrs rane earns in a month = 18500 rs
