Mrs.Rane gives 0.025 part of her salary to het son vinod every month . let's take Mrs.Rane salary to be x . So 0.025x is given to her son every month from which he only saves 20%of it . Money saved by him=0.025x(0.2)=0.005x. Money saved by him in three months =₹277.50.money saved by him in one month=₹92.50. So 0.005x=92.50=>x=92.50/0.005=₹18500.Mrs.Rane earns ₹18500 every month.

Solution:

________

Let Rane earns Rs Y per month

given to Vinod = 0.025 x Y = 0.025Y

Vinod spends = 0.8 of 0.025 = 0.02Y

Vinod saves = 0.025Y - 0.02Y = 0.005Y

Saving of Vinod for 3 months = 0.005Y x 3 = 0.015Y

ACQ

0.015Y = 277.50 = 18500

So, Mrs Rane earns Rs 18,500/ month.
