Answer:

a) income tax = rs 24,000

income = rs. 2,50,000

24000 : 2,50,000, in simplest form 24,000/ 2,50,000 = 12/ 125 , which is 12: 125. so, the answer of income tax to income is 12: 125

b) income to income tax

2,50,000 : 24000

125 : 12

a) Ratio of income tax to income

 =  \frac{24000}{250000}

  = \frac{12}{125}

= 12 : 125

b) Ratio of income to income tax

  = \frac{250000}{24000}

 =  \frac{125}{12}

= 125 : 12
