➤ Answer :-

Milk bought by Mrs.Singh =\sf 8 \frac{1}{2} \\ litres

Milk bought by Mrs.Kaul =\sf 5 \frac{4}{5} \\ litres

 \dashrightarrow \sf8 \frac{1}{2} - 5 \frac{4}{5} \\

 \dashrightarrow \sf \frac{17}{2} - \frac{29}{5} \\

LCM of 2 and 5 is 10.

 \dashrightarrow \sf \frac{17 \times 5}{2 \times 5} - \frac{29 \times 2}{5 \times 2} \\

 \dashrightarrow \sf \frac{85}{10} - \frac{58}{10} = \frac{85 - 58}{10} \\

 \dashrightarrow \sf \frac{27}{10} = 2 \frac{7}{10} \\

\Huge\thereforeMrs.Singh bought more milk than Mrs.Kaul by \sf 2 \frac{7}{10} \\ litres.
