⭐⭐ Hey mate ⭐⭐

Here is the answer:-

Let the age of Mrs . Singh's daughter be X years

Then,

her age = X + 20 years .

5 years ago :-

Mrs. Singh's daughter's age = X - 5 years

Her age = X + 20 - 5 years

Given,

She was three times as old as her daughter .

then,

according to the question :-

X + 20 - 5 = 3 ( X - 5)

X + 15 = 3x - 5

15 + 5 = 3x - X

2x = 20

x = 20/2

x = 10

Her daughter's present age = 10 years .

Her age = 30 years

It is asked that when she will be twice as old as her daughter .

Twice of 10 year = 20 years .

Distant time = (30-20) years = 10 years

She was as twice as old as her daughter 10 years ago .

Hope it will be helpful...
