ms.pandit divided an amount of Rs. 108000 amoungest his two daughters and three sons . Each daughter received thrice the amount as each of the sons . How much did each daughter receive?

Total amount=Rs.108000

Let the amount received by each son=x

Total amount received by 3 sons=3x

Amount received by each daughter=3x

Amount received by 2 daughters =2 (3x)=6x

Now,3x+6x=108000

9x=108000

x=108000/9

x=12000

Amount received by each son=x=Rs.12000

Amount received by each daughter=3x=3×12000=Rs.36000
