no of calculators she bought=40

cost of one of those calculators= 8.20

cost of 40 of those calculators=40×8.20

                                                  =$328

remaining cost=387-328

                        = $59

cost of on of the other calculators=$2.95

number of other calculators=59/2.95

                                              =20 calculators

∴ she bought 20 of the other calculators
