Mt Everest is at a height of 8850m. Its base is at an elevation of 5400m. The temperature here drops at the rate of 1 degree per 100 meters. If the temperature at the base is −5 degrees C, what is the temperature at the top?

= 3450

Rate of temperature change =- 1/100 degree C/m

Temperature change = - 3450/100
