heya ...

here is ur answer ...

the height- 8850 - 5400

= 3450 m

temperature drops 1 degree at 100 m

the total drop of temp. will be' 3450/100

= 3.45 degree

now temperature at base is -5 .therefore temperature at the top will be -5 -3.45

that is...- 8.45..

☆ Answer ☆

 \sf \green{ -39.5°C}

☆ Solution ☆

\rightarrow Height of My. Everest from its base = 8850-5400

3450 m

\rightarrow Drop in temperature = 3450/ 100 = 34.5

\rightarrow Temperature at the top = -5°C - (34.5) °C

= -39.5°C
