2. (a) r = 7cm, h = 15 cm

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7×7×7×15

= 2310 cm³

(b) r =2.8 m, h = 15 m

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7×2.8×2.8×15

= 369.6

3. (a) d = 21 cm

r = d/2 = 21/2 cm, h = 20 cm

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7×21/2×21/2×20

= 13860 cm³

(b) d= 7 m

r = 7/2 m, h = 12 m

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7×7/2×7/2×12

= 462
