Assertion- Tropical rainforests are disappearing fast from developing countries such as India. The reason is due to increasing deforestation, poaching, constructions, mining, etc.

Reason- These rainforests are very rich in diversity and have a high degree of endemism as well. Thus, they are of great value.

These forests are getting disappeared faster than expected. They should be conserved.

Answer:

this is due to overpopulation and building up of new structures as they need land to be built and also can be of commercial use such as lumbering farming etc.
