p(6,-6)=(x1,y1) & Q(-4,-1)=(x2,y2)

USE DISTANCE FORMULA,

x1+x2/2 ____ OR ___ y1+y2/2

=6+(-4)/2_______ OR _____ ( -6)+(-1)/2

Mid point of line  PQ  is A  which have coordinate

 A(x,y)=(1,-3.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

coordinates of  P

P(6,-6)=P(x_{1},y_{1})               x_{1}=6,y_{1}=-6

Coordinates of Q

Q(-4,-1)=P(x_{2},y_{2})             x_{2}=-4,y_{2}=-1

Let coordinates of A

A(x,y)

Formula for mid point

x=\left ( x_{1}+x_{2} \right )/2              y=\left ( y_{1}+y_{2} \right )/2

x=\left ( 6+\left ( -4 \right ) \right )/2             y=\left ( -6+\left ( -1 \right ) \right )/2

=\left ( 6-4 \right )/2                        =\left ( -6-1 \right )/2

=2/2                                  =-7/2

x=1                                y =-3.5

We find the coordinates of A from above solution

             A(x,y)=(1,-3.5)
