The matrimonial alliances between the Mughals and the Rajput ended the animosity and the war between them and this brought about stability in the Mughal Empire.

EXPLANATION:

The Mughal emperors fought against the rulers who did not accept their authority. As the Mughal rulers became a powerful lot of Rajput leaders married their daughters with Mughal rulers. In return the Rajput rulers were offered high positions in the ‘Mughal army’.

The power of the Rajputs had also weakened as a result they accepted the sovereignty of the Mughals and they voluntarily joined hands with the Mughals.
