Thanks for the question!

It is definitely a very interesting question to solve and do some brainstorming.

The Mughal Ghat is situated in the city of Farrukhabad, a famous cultural and history-oriented district of Uttar Pradesh state in Northern India.

This world-famous ghat was constructed by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb (r.1659-1707) as he was aware of the significance of the healing properties of the River Ganga.

King Aurangzeb was well-aware of the fact that "If the holy water of River Ganga remains clear and pure, it has strength to fight many diseases."

Gangajal as the holy water of River Ganga is referred to in the aeons-old Hinduism religion till date is still the most pious and sacred water all over the world. Unfortunately, the present state of the sacred River Ganga would definitely horrify the emperors of Hindustan if they accidentally reappear by some weird quirk of time travel.

Hope it helps and solves your query!!

Mughal Ghats of Farrukhabad along river Ganga was constructed by Aurangzeb.

Aurangzeb was the last effective emperor of Mughal kingdom who ruled the country for “49 years” from “1658 to 1707”.

He was totally impressed by the “holy river Ganga” and was aware of the “healing power” of the water.

In order to make the river Ganga as sacred and to conserve it from degradation and to make it as a good water source for all his population, he constructed Ghats on the “bank of the river” in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh.
