Answer:
To reduce a fraction to lowest terms, divide the numerator and denominator by their Greatest Common Factor (GCF). This is also called simplifying the fraction.
a) 2/3*2*2/3
= 2*2*2/3*3
= 8/9
8/9 is in the lowest form.
(here, * represents multiplication)
b) 4/5*12/7
= 4*12/5*7
= 48/35
It is in its simplest form
c) 6*2/5*7/9
= 6*2*7/5*9
= 84/45
After making it into simplest form u will get,
= 28/15 (here divided by 3,common factor)
d) 3*4/7*3/5
= 3*4*3/7*5
= 36/35
It is in its lowest form.
