Solution:

2d² - 8d

Take 2d common

= 2d(d - 4)

Hence Common Monomial Factor  is the  the process of finding the factors of the given mathematical expression

12a³b⁵ - 20a⁵b²c

= 4(a³b⁵ - 5a⁵b²c)

= 4a³b²(3b³ - 5a²c)

Multiplying sum and difference of a binomial will result in a difference of two squares

(a + b)(a - b) = a² - b²  

(2p - 5)(A) = 4p² – 25

=>  (2p - 5)(A) = (2p - 5)(2p + 5)

=> A  = 2p + 5
