Which of these are essential for photosynthesis to take place ?

Chlorophyll

The green plants are only capable of producing their own food through the process of Photosynthesis. They get their characteristic Green colour due to a Pigment called Chlorophyll in them. The non-green plants get Carbon Dioxide, Sunlight and Water but still they aren't capable of the Process of Photosynthesis as they don't have the Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is capable of trapping the sunlight and use it to perform Photosynthesis.
