Asexual reproduction of Plasmodium occurs in man. It is type of multiple fission and termed as schizogony.These sporozoites undergo schizogony in mesodermal tissue, reticuloendothelial cells of liver, spleen, bone marrow and endothelial cells of capillaries to produce merozoites.
