This shal be ur answer: Equivalent weight = Atomic weight/Valency

Atomic weight of Calcium = 40 and valency = 2, then,

Equivalent weight of Calcium =  Atomic weight of Calcium/ Valency of Calicium

= 40/2

= 20

Hope this helps, pls mark brainliest ; )

Answer:

Multiplication of equivalent weight and valency of an element is equal to the Atomic Mass of that element .

For example -

Atomic Mass of beryllium = Equivalent Mass of Beryllium * Valency of beryllium

Now , Equivalent Mass of Beryllium = 4.5

Valency of Beryllium = 2

Hence , atomic mass = 4.5 * 2 = 9

Hence , Verified .
