To multiply fractions:

Simplify the fractions if not in lowest terms.Multiply the numerators of the fractions to get the new numerator.Multiply the denominators of the fractions to get the new denominator.

I will give an example of multiplication in fractions

Let's keep  \frac{1}{2} and \frac{3}{2}

\implies{\rm} \:  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{3}{2}

\implies{\rm} \:  \frac{3}{4}

We have just multiplied the denominators and numerator. Hence we got the answer.
