=\dfrac{12}{1}\cdot \dfrac{2}{-3}

=-\dfrac{12\cdot \:2}{1\cdot \left(-3\right)}

=-\dfrac{12\cdot \:2}{-1\cdot \:3}

=-\dfrac{24}{-3}

=8
