The value of the expression ( 2a² - ab ) × ( 3a + 2b ) is 3.

Given: The expression ( 2a² - ab ) × ( 3a + 2b )  and a = 1, b = - 1.

To Find: The value of the expression ( 2a² - ab ) × ( 3a + 2b ).

Solution:

The given expression is,

               ( 2a² - ab ) × ( 3a + 2b )                                                        .....(1)

Solving this expression, we get;

          ⇒  2a² × ( 3a + 2b ) - ab × ( 3a + 2b )

          ⇒  6a³ + 4a²b - 3a²b - 2ab²

          ⇒  6a³ + a²b - 2ab²

Now, putting a = 1 and b = -1, we get;

          ⇒ 6 × ( 1 )³ + ( 1 )² × ( - 1 ) - 2 × ( 1 ) × ( - 1 )²

          ⇒ 6 - 1 - 2

          ⇒ 6 - 3

          ⇒ 3

Now, for verifying, we shall put the values a = 1 and b = - 1 in (1);

               ( 2 × ( 1 )² - ( 1 ) × ( - 1 )) × ( 3 × 1 + 2 × ( - 1 ))

           ⇒ ( 2 + 1 ) × ( 3 - 2 )

           ⇒  3 × 1

           ⇒  3

So, the answer is verified to be 3.

Hence, the value of the expression ( 2a² - ab ) × ( 3a + 2b ) is 3.
