Answer:

Correct. For example:

56 + 73 = 129

113 + 82 = 195 etc.

Construct five more examples in support of this statement.

Incorrect, since (– 6) + (– 7) = – 13, which is not a positive integer. The correct statement is: When two negative integers are added we get a negative integer. For example,

(– 56) + (– 73) = – 129

(– 113) + (– 82) = – 195, etc.

Answer:

Let,

the 1st negative number= -a

the 2nd negative number = - b

the 3rd negative number = -c

the 4th negative number= -d

the 5th negative number= -e

Now,multiply 3 negative numbers

= (-a) (-b) (-c)

= - abc

Now, multiply 4 negative numbers

=(-a) (-b) (-c) (-d)

= + abcd

Now, multiply 5 negative numbers

=(-a) (-b) (-c) (-d) (-e)

= -abcde

therefore, we observe that when negative number is multiplied with odd number ,the result is negative and when multiplied with even number, the result is positive
