  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

           Given data:- \frac{2}{7} \times\frac{3}{4} \times\frac{7}{8} .

           To find:- Value of given expression.

           Solution:-

  • Multiplication is denoted by the symbol $\left({ }^{(} \times^{‘}\right)$.
  • Multiplication is a method to get the product by multiplying two or more values.
  • There are six properties of multiplication is given below:-

1. Closure property of multiplication.

2. Commutative property of multiplication.

3. Associative property of multiplication.

4. Distributive property of multiplication over addition.

5. Identity property of multiplication.

6. Zero property of multiplication.

      Therefore,

         \frac{2}{7} \times\frac{3}{4} \times\frac{7}{8} \\=\frac{1}{1}\times \frac{3}{4}\times \frac{1}{4} \\=\frac{1\times3\times1}{1\times4\times4} \\=\frac{3}{16} .

   Hence we will get the value \frac{3}{16} .

Given: The equation\frac{2}{7} \times\frac{3}{4} \times\frac{7}{8}.

We have to multiply the given fraction\frac{2}{7} \times\frac{3}{4} \times\frac{7}{8}.

For this, we are using the multiplication property.

In this, we are first multiplying the numerators and then denominators, and then dividing the numerator by the denominator.

We are solving in the following way:

We have\frac{2}{7} \times\frac{3}{4} \times\frac{7}{8}.

Now,

=> \frac{2}{7} \times\frac{3}{4} \times\frac{7}{8}

=>\frac{6}{28}\times\frac{7}{8}  \\\\=>\frac{3}{16}

We get, \frac{3}{16}.

Hence, after multiplying the given fraction i.e., \frac{2}{7} \times\frac{3}{4} \times\frac{7}{8} we get\frac{3}{16}.
