 \frac{5}{14}  +  \frac{6}{8}  =  \frac{5 \times 4 + 6 \times7 }{56}  =  \frac{20 + 42}{56}  =  \frac{62}{56}

= 31/28

Difference of 11/8 and (-3)/4

 \frac{11}{8}  -  \frac{( - 3)}{4}  =  \frac{11 - ( - 3)2}{8}  =  \frac{11 + 6}{8}  =  \frac{17}{8}

Then as per question,

 \frac{31}{28}  \times  \frac{17}{8}
