Bcoz tropic of cancer runs through Mumbai whereas tropic of cancer lies to the lower level/below of Delhi

We all know the concepts of rotation and revolution of the earth. Earth comes to tropic of cancer and tropic of Capricorn at least once a year. Delhi latitudes and longitudes does not fall in the range where direct rays of sun can fall usually around 23°N, Delhi's latitudes and longitudes on the other hand are 28.7041° N, 77.1025° E. This is the main reason why Sun's rays does not fall directly over Delhi.
