Subject: Menace of vendors outside schools
Dear Sir,
I am a student of Kalam Vidyalaya. I would like to bring to your attention the menace that vendors pose to the students of our school. They sell all sorts of unhealthy eatables and drinks right outside the school compound.
I believe the Municipal authorities are fully aware of this. And yet the nuisance goes on unabated. All these eatables are prepared and sold under the most unhygienic conditions and contain poisonous and harmful colours and other substances. The foodstuff is exposed to flies and other insects. It poses a grave threat to the health of unsuspecting school children.
May I request you most earnestly to take all possible measures immediately to put a stop to this crime against children and to see to it that all vendors are prohibited from selling their wares in the vicinity of our school?

Subject: Request for increase in usage of bicycles in the city
On behalf of the citizens of our nation, I wish to draw your attention to the problem of pollution in our city. A solution to this is usage of bicycles in our everyday life. The exhaust gases from the cars and bikes are increasing the problem of asthma and stress here.
Every person here owns a car. Every member of a family drives everyday, rather than adopting the idea of car pooling. This is also making people sloth day by day. They walk to their school, colleges, institutions and offices, sit there the entire day and come back the same way. Riding bicycles would keep people hale, hearty and healthy.
Considering the problems faced by us on regular basis, I request you to make the necessary arrangements for promoting this idea. Your efforts would be much appreciated.
