given y=3x

y+12=2(x+12)
y+12=2x+24

put y=3x
3x+12=2x+24
x=12

hence munnas age is 12 his fathers age is 36

Let father be F and munna be M
F = 3M .........(1)
F +12 = 2( M+ 12)..........(2)
3M + 12 = 2M + 24
( from eq. 1 F = 3M)
3M - 2M = 24- 12
M = 12 years

Father = 3M
F= 3× 12
F= 36years
