Hi!
Muscles when under fatigue releases an acid called lactic acid.
Usually, muscles respire by producing energy in the form of ATP. When under fatigue, due to less availability of oxygen, the muscle ends up producing lactic acid which comparatively releases less energy than required via anaerobic respiration
Hope it answered your question. Feel free to point me out. After all, we both are learners. Cheers!!
