The Muscle X is controlled by much more neurons than muscle Y this is the reason the contraction and relaxation of muscle x is much more as that of muscle Y.

Suppose there are two muscle, one is controlled by less number of neurons and other one is controlled by more number of neurons. Then the muscle which is controlled by more neurons has better response.
