Muscles get fatigued due to the accumulation of the (c) Lactic acid.

  • The glucose burning needs oxygen during the respiration. On being subjected to a continuous exercise, there is a low oxygen availability, in the muscle.
  • The low availability leads to an anaerobic glucose breakdown resulting in the lactic acid formation.
  • The muscle buildup of the lactic acid causes the muscle fatigue.
